Playdate

Today Brock had a playdate with his buddy Tanner (whom he's known since he was born) and Tanner's little sister Taylor. They played on the swingset, played golf, basketball, and hockey. They got really wet playing with the sand and water table too!!! We ate PB & J outside and it was such a beautiful day :) Brock is really lucky to have such a good friend at such a young age :)

Easter Sunday

Everyone was up bright and early in the Nanton home this morning. Brock was especially excited about what the Easter bunny had brought him :) We went to church and then to cousin Shane's house for Easter dinner. Uncle Tony and Candy from St. Lucia and Uncle Johnny and Auntie Ruthie from Puerto Rico were up visiting for the occasion. We had a nice time and Brock and Bowen got more goodies as the day went on... We tried to control Brock's intake of sugar, but I'm pretty sure he snuck some while we weren't looking. I can say he gets the sweet tooth honestly. We then came home and our neighbors...Uncle Shawn and Aunt Liz gave Brock MORE candy and a set of Transformers :) They are very good to us and our kids!! Needless to say..we are all pretty pooped from the crazy weekend and are going to bed early tonight :)

Brock's first blog entry

Ok, so I'm a little late on the whole blogging thing. I barely have time to take a shower these days, so blogging seemed way off in the future for me!! But, as I have seen so many other parents blogs I figured I would give it a try. Brock just turned three this month on the 7th. He is talking up a storm and repeats anything and everything ...mostly what Uncle Clint says :) He is the sweetest little thing and so gentle with his little brother Bowen, who will be 5 months old on the 24th of March. Tonight before putting him to bed he said something that wouldn't be good to say in public and Nick asked him where he heard it...he said "We'll talk about that in the morning daddy". He's such a stinker :) I couldn't ask for better little boys. Brock just had his birthday party a couple weeks ago and we had it at Monkey Joes. That's his favorite place these days...b/c there are lots of bounce houses, games, pizza, and his favorite candy M&M's. We had 24 kids and their parents...we all had a really great time taking over Monkey Joes. Now after his birthday and Christmas just a few months before I think we officially have Toys R Us at our house now!! I will post some pictures of his party.
